our shadows break through and our bodies follow and she is the death girl and I am the death girl time breaks against skin time breaks space strange voices in the distance the moss tastes like blood she sleeps on stones sleeping doll spirits twitch and dream of spells cast in bleeding time trees grow from stones cared for by shadows cast by time in waiting voices scared by silence I listen while they cover my ears she's sleeping on stones as trees grow from her shadow colored eyes our shadows break through and our bodies follow and she is the death girl and I am the death girl she breaks time with space this is how we live and break shadows of trees on stones and I break in the sun I sleep on stones I go here to die for a while she wakes up in the light the way back is covered in moss and stones with trees wet with tears carried by the death girl the girl who never dies and never lives and never cries I live in her shadow colored eyes

it is five in the morning in a winter's time the light from the city sees us we stand with the dark behind us we are rare and precious beings in a lost city's dreams the light from the dawn's eyes sees us so much brighter than the sleeper's mind we're so much brighter we are at the edges of dawn lost in winter's time we glow in the snow brightly so much brighter than the morning light it is seven in the morning in a city's dream we shine so bright in the shadows we stand with the darkness before us we are so much brighter we are rare and precious beings lost in winter's time the sky is glowing in colors we are too beautiful for its eyes

a ghost dressed in a black cloak walks down the street and their silver hair cuts everyone around them they're just a ghost they see a bridge made of stone birds of all shapes and sizes nest on the bridge the ghost crosses over in peace next they meet a very small forest of pines and moss the ghost passes through it enjoying the shade and quiet and they lay silently down on the rose covered ground and sink into the earth for a little while as the rain comes down and rain will fall on the rose covered ground rain falls a ghost dressed in a black cloak walks through a graveyard no one notices them not the living and not the dead the streets are red and flowing with the blood of the cut they're thinking of a half forgotten song they're just a ghost they walk among the dead and pick roses from their heads with their basket full they go looking for a barren field and they lay silently down on the rose covered ground and sink into the earth for a little while as the rain comes down
4.
embraced by a moon's shadow soft and silent and comforting warm and peaceful on a cold night filled with vengeful ghosts and memories the pale light in her eyes shines bright enough to read by read a story bound in shadows and oceans of wires embraced by a moon's shadow in the light of her eyes wires fall away a moon sinking in an ocean of sharp shadows and wires holding on to a ribbon in bloody shreds rain falls and the wires rust and crumble a moon floating in a red sea while a million loving shadows play all around her embraced by a moon's shadow in the light of her eyes wires fall away
5.
cross the sunlight cross the rain cross the storm and cross the seas like birds did you know there's a vampire on the moon did you know there are rabbits on the moon and a watcher by the sea and a maiden and a thief we are crossing the sea of serenity crossing the sea of rains and we are crossing the ocean of storms did you know there are rabbits on the earth and there was a vampire who built a rocket to go to the moon
